Celebration of New Ministry
Beautifying our corner of Allen Park
On a quiet little corner in an Allen Park, Michigan neighborhood sits a rather unassuming brick church. Many would drive by not even noticing. Well, not any more! The exterior has come to life, brightening the little corner. With welcoming red doors and columns, along with refreshed landscaping, the hope is neighbors and those just driving by will now take notice.
Sunday service at St. Lukes is at 9:00 a.m., celebrated on the first and third Sundays offering the Holy Eucharist with our Rector, Fr. Mitch Yudasz. While he serves only on a part-time basis, he is committed to his pastoral service and leads us in growing and strengthening our congregation. All other Sunday services are Morning Prayer, led by a Lay Worship Leader.
Come inside and join us in worship. All are welcome!
Our doors will invite you in…
Our doors are in need of painting so are going to be doing something more traditional: We’re painting our doors red!

A new beginning…..
Today St. Luke’s and Christ the King churches celebrated the beginning of the next chapter in our church lives, with our new Priest -in- Charge, Father Mitchell Yudasz, conducting a Eucharistic service. Following our service we gathered in the parish hall for coffee and cake and the sharing of fellowship. Welcome Fr. Mitch.
